Using patented Swiss technology, our pencils without wood are made using a unique co-extrusion process that does not use any wood products.NO  Trees are cut down for the manufacturing process. WoodFree pencils are made from certified non-toxic compounds with a strong bond between the outer sheath and inner core. This results in less breakage, hence they are safe for children, and for people who chew on pencils. Our product range includes both black HB and colour pencils. There is no lead content in our woodless pencils - the "lead" is a graphite and polymer blend.          These pencils can be used with standard sharpeners and erasers.
